During 2003 Mr. Mashiane formed, together with Justice Ramarumo Monama and Kevin Moodley, a firm under the name and style, Mashiane, Moodley & Monama Incorporated with his part experience in the relevant fields, Mr. Mashiane provided legal services to the likes of the Standard Bank of South Africa, ACSA, MTN and Financial Services Board to mention a few.

Mr. Mashiane is a director of the firm and renders legal services to several large corporations, predominantly in the telecommunications and services industry. He specialises in regulatory and telecommunications law where he has extensively drafted legal opinions and agreements. He heads the firm’s commercial department dealing with the drawing of commercial agreements, advising and registration of companies, advising and drafting trust deeds. Mr. Mashiane is also involved in arbitration proceedings on behalf of clients at various arbitration forums within the Republic of South Africa.

Mr. Mashiane is an attorney with the competency and capability of providing the legal services required in commercial law, company law, and banking law as well as constitutional law, administrative law, public procurement law, labour law and general legal assistance.

Mr. Modjadji obtained his LLB degree in 2005 from the University of Limpopo. He has gained legal practice experience in the third party claims (particularly in motor vehicle accidents), employment law, and civil litigation in the high courts and lower courts. He is currently practicing as an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Mr. Modjadji is currently employed at the firm as a Partner. He is an attorney with the competency and capability of providing the legal services required in constitutional law, administrative law, public procurement law, labour law and labour dispute resolution as well as general legal assistance

Mr. Maphakela qualified at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg with a BA Law (2004), LLB (2006) and LLM in Regulatory (2007). Mr. Maphakela has expertise in Property Law, Competition Law, Telecommunication law and Regulatory in general. Mr. Maphakela gained his experience in Property Law when he was the lead legal consultant for a multi-billion project known as the Gauteng Kopanong Project (“the Precinct”).

Mr. Maphakela is currently employed at the firm as a Partner. He is an attorney with the competency and capability of providing the legal services required in constitutional law, administrative law, procurement law, tax law, labour law and general legal assistance.

Ms. Chauke obtained her LLB at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. She completed her articles at the Wits Law Clinic where she practiced mainly in Human Rights law.

Ms Chauke is currently employed at the firm as an Associate. She is an attorney with competency and capability of providing the legal services required under commercial law, company law, and banking law as well as constitutional law, administrative law, public procurement law and general legal assistance.

Ms. Leeuw studied her B Com Law Degree at the University of Pretoria thereafter she completed her LLB degree at the University of South Africa in 2016. Ms Leeuw started her articles of clerkship at the firm in 2009 where she has gained commercial law experience on secondment as an in-house legal advisor within MTN’s Commercial Legal Department servicing MTN Group’s Procurement Department.

Ms. Leeuw is currently a Candidate Attorney with the competency and capability of providing legal services required under commercial law, company law, banking law, constitutional law, administrative law and public procurement law) as well as general legal assistance

Mr. Jwankie obtained his BA degree in 2006 and further completed his LLB in 2010 at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He served his articles at the Legal Aid South Africa where he gained practical knowledge in criminal law. He is currently employed at the firm as a Candidate Attorney  while completing his board exams.

Mr. Jwankie is currently a Candidate Attorney with competency and capability of providing legal services in constitutional law, administrative law, procurement law, labour law and general legal assistance.

Ms. Mahomed obtained her LLB degree at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth in 2013. She is currently registered at the University of Johannesburg where she is in the process of completing her LLM in Commercial Law, while completing her articles of clerkship at the firm. Ms Mahomed has gained experience in commercial law, employment law, third party motor vehicle accident claims, litigation and research

Ms. Mahomed is currently a Candidate Attorney with the competency and capability of providing legal services required in commercial law, company law and banking law as well as labour law and general legal assistance

Ms Chetty obtained her Senior Paralegal Diploma at the South African Paralegal School at Johannesburg in 2009. She further obtained her National Certificate for Paralegal studies at the South African Law School in 2013 and is currently employed at the firm as a Senior Paralegal.

Ms Chetty has the relevant experience in the legal field for the past ±20 years of handling and typing of documents in commercial law, deceased estates, litigation, foreclosures (Standard Bank Limited), debt collection (Telkom Limited) and labour related matters, preparing Invoices/Statements, drafting simple contracts, proof reading documents, internet case research, preparing status reports, Powerpoint presentation, opening files on legal suite, drafting simple letters, general file management and assisting with the drafting and preparing of tender documents.

Ms Mabaso obtained her diploma in Conveyancing Practice in 2005 at the Centre for Conveyancing and further obtained her National Certificate at the South African Law School in Johannesburg.

She is currently employed at the firm as a paralegal and has the relevant experience in the legal field for ± 15 years of legal receptionist, typing, diarizing of matters, handling & typing documents for Conveyancing (Ghost Convey), preparing documents to lodge with the deeds office, cancellations, transfers, handling & typing documents for litigation, labour related matters, preparing invoices, drafting simple letters and general file management.

Ms Zondani obtained her National Certificate in Paralegal studies at the South African Law School in 2013.

She is currently employed at the firm as a Paralegal and has the relevant experience in the legal field for ±9 years of typing, diarizing matters, handling & typing documents for litigation, labour related matters, preparing invoices, drafting simple letters and general file management.

Mrs Chetty has been in the legal field for the past ±27 years as a finance manager including general bookkeeping. Her tasks and management of staff has come with a lot of dedication and passion with human capital.

It was during 2005 when Mrs Chetty joined the firm, Mashiane Moodley & Monama Incorporated as an Office/Finance Manager. While being at M4 Attorneys, she obtained a Law Plan Certificate from Legal Interact. Mrs Chetty is responsible for the efficient office management of the firm and is a dedicated and proficient professional with versatile administrative support skill developed through her years of experience as an Office/Finance Manager.
